Department of Periodontics Eklavya Dental College & Hospital. The Department of Periodontics at Eklavya Dental College & Hospital is dedicated to excellence in education, patient care, research, and community service. Periodontics is the branch of dentistry concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the supporting structures of the teeth, including the gums, periodontal ligament, cementum, and alveolar bone, as well as dental implant therapy.
